Welcome to Hope-Filled Homemaker. Thank you for choosing to meditate with me today. Today, we will do a 4-minute guided breathing meditation for stress relief. There has been a lot going on lately in the world, and this meditation will help us take a moment to simply breathe.
Let’s get comfortable
To begin, let’s get comfortable by finding a position that feels right for you.
Once you’re settled into your position, slowly close your eyes if you can.
Now, allow your shoulders to relax, letting go of any tension you notice.
Next, release the tension in your jaw, softening it as you breathe.
Let yourself be here in this moment, fully present with your body and breath.
Let’s Breathe
Now, let’s take a deep breath in through your nose…
And as you finish your inhale, slowly exhale through your mouth.
As we continue this practice, gently maintain your focus on your breath.
Continue to inhale deeply and exhale slowly.
Begin to breathe in a steady rhythm:
Inhale (4 counts)
1… 2… 3… 4…Exhale (6 counts)
1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6…
Feel your body relax
Repeat this gentle breathing pattern, feeling your body relax with each cycle.
Let each inhale bring in calm.
With each exhale, release tensionā letting go of what you donāt need.
If thoughts come up ā itās okay.
Acknowledge them, and gently return to your breath.
With every breath out, let go more.
Sink deeper into stillness.
Letās continue with this steady rhythm for a few moments, breathing together and focusing on this calming pattern.

Whenever you feel ready, gently allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Observe each breath like waves coming and going.
When you’re ready
Gently open your eyes
Gently open your eyes at your own pace.
Notice how you feel now.
I pray you feel more relaxed and at ease.
Scripture reflection
As we end this meditation, letās reflect on a bible verse.
Then Jesus said, āCome to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.ā (NLT)
Matthew 11:28-30
